When we think Good News, we speak Good News.  As we join together in prayer and displays of love, a potent goodness can and will overcome the negative shouting in our land. Bad news comes and goes, changing opinions as fast as a kaleidoscope twirls colors. Ah, but the Word of God lives forever!

Love each other deeply with all your heart, for you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field.
The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the Lord remains forever.”

And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.

During this month of Thanksgiving, develop the habit of writing down a line or two of thanksgiving every day and adding a character of God and Scripture verse to it.  Soon you will have a “book of thanksgiving” to share with your family and friends, and a remembrance to go to in those gloomy days that try to overtake us. Here is mine for today:

  • I am grateful for my health and that He has healed my heart 20 times through surgeries.
  • God is Jehovah Rapha, the Healing God; He is the Comforter in times of doubt and confusion.
  • Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God,

He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

  • “I praise you Lord because you love me every day; listen to my prayers every moment; forgive me and heap mercy upon my life.”

When we deliberately separate ourselves from bad news, the praise begins to flow because the Holy spirit is set free in our hearts.  God is a good, good God. Praise Him with your breath throughout this day; for His mercy, grace, and compassion. This becomes so very powerful in our lives as He joins us in this intimate act. And suddenly, we have purpose, power, and renewed joy.

Choose gratitude every time!

Always Expect Amazing,
