We begin this Thanksgiving week with a grateful heart and a hopeful spirit. Not because of circumstance or anything we overhear. But because we know God, intimately in our hearts. Through His word; by His Spirit, we know that He alone is worthy of our praise. And if we stop for a few moments to hear His voice, we discover the grandness of Who He is and rehearse what great things He has done.
This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.
It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Hebrews 6:19
When we praise, gratitude swells the heart until it explodes with Good News.
- We ask those around us, “How can I pray for you?”
- We share the joy experienced through salvation; through waiting on the Lord in prayer; in being lifted up by a praying friend.
- We speak words of gratitude for the health, the love, the freedom we have.
- We don’t convince with words, but by displaying the character of God through our lives.
In other words, let us bring the Good News that God can be intimately known; that by His Spirit a heart can be healed, and a life can be restored. We are women of the Good News, and we Love Out Loud.
Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3
This week pray for opportunities to tell of the Lord’s greatness. And in that verse, there is something very important about the word together. By mail, email, text, phone, fist bump, elbow knock, or the smile of a life redeemed by Christ, share His greatness and the very power of His being.
Always expect Amazing,
