A RESET of the mind allows me to have God-confidence in who He created me to be.
The day greeted us with bad news across our country and the world. What we see, hear, and experience daily can contribute to a feeling of fear, anxiety, and depression. We “change the channel” by meditating and rejoicing in the character of God.
• He is all-powerful (Genesis 1:1-3)
• He creates with goodness. (Genesis 1:4, 10, 12, 19, 21,25, 31)
• He creates with relationship. (Genesis 1:26-27).
• God creates with order and purpose. (Genesis 1)
“Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God.”
(Psalm 146:5)
What could be better on Valentine’s Day, the day that celebrates bountiful love, than to gift positive, caring thoughts as we pour forth the Good News of Christ’s gift of salvation, the Gift of Himself, and the forgiveness of mistakes. We are woman, created by the very heart of God to bring glory to His name. You are unique in personality, talents, looks, and story; and in this you can rejoice. Never should you compare yourself to others; never should you compete emotionally with others because of what they do or do not have.
We began She Loves Out Loud and the REAL Woman study with the statement, “We are in this together.” Aloneness can isolate, intimidate, and weaken a heart. But read the instruction of the Creator to the man and woman He created us as the life-givers of mankind’s future.
• Shepherd the children God has given you (physically or you have influence with)
• Speak wisdom, grace, and truth to those around us.
• See and love the marginalized around us.
• Strengthen our neighborhoods and families through creativity and sacrifice. (pg. 32)
This giving of life begins with sharing the Good News of the God’s love, the hope of redemption. In a world of turmoil, we can make a huge impact as we walk in peace and confidence in the God Who loves us so.
When we give in to the oppression that surrounds us, we lose the battle between good and evil. This was never meant to be. Jesus is our Victory; He is hope; He is life. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (John 14:6) Never forget this; never stop sharing it, saying it, singing it! There is joy waiting to be received in the name of Jesus. Happy Valentine’s Day!
STILL Expecting Amazing,
